I’d be fascinated to see a book on pirate parenting. I got my 19 year old an annual subscription to Category Pirates so he can listen to the books and articles and he can learn think differently about the cool things he is doing. Maybe just maybe these books and articles will inspire him to transform his life and get what he wants out of it. He isn’t a great rule follower - he is the engineering machine shop TA while being a political science major because he is better at using and teaching how to use the machines than any of the engineering majors. And being an engineering major is “boring, it is just a lot of problem sets”. I think he will make a great pirate and I want to do everything I can to encourage him on his journey.
